The IFCS awards will be presented on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24 at 8:20 AM, during the opening sessions.
W.G. Cady Award
The W. G. Cady Award is to recognize outstanding contributions related to the fields of piezoelectric or other classical frequency control, selection and measurement; and resonant sensor devices.
"For ground-breaking contributions to noise analysis and signal-source theory, and experimental achievements in the electronic and photonic domains."
C. B. Sawyer Award
The C. B. Sawyer Memorial Award is to recognize entrepreneurship or leadership in the frequency control community; or outstanding contributions in the development, production or characterization of resonator materials or structures.
"For a career of continued excellence providing the time and frequency community with state of the art electronics having ever lower noise figures and increased performance."
I. I. Rabi Award
The I. I. Rabi Award is to recognize outstanding contributions related to the fields of atomic and molecular frequency standards, and time transfer and dissemination.
“For the development of stable, reproducible, and accurate atomic clocks based on optical lattices, and the use of those clocks to probe fundamental atomic interactions and quantum many-body systems.”
